From the moment Megan and Brett chose me as their photographer, I knew this wedding was going to be incredible. Megan is so detail-oriented! Even the timeline they sent me looked gorgeous. As soon as I arrived at The Eldridge in Lawrence to photograph the ladies getting ready, I was blown away. The room was filled with beautiful blush and sequin gowns and Megan and her ladies all looked stunning. Brett and his buddies got a fresh shave in the morning (so cool!) and then he went to see his bride. Their first look was full of giggles and smiles, then we hopped on a trolly to take us around Lawrence. Because of the rain, all of the locations we had planned were out, so we headed over to the Spencer Museum of Art on the KU campus. IT WAS FREAKING AWESOME. Afterwards, the trolly took us to the Cider Gallery. Megan and Brett's friend officiated and had everyone in stitches with his jokes and spontaneous music. The reception was filled with a mashed potato bar (I had seconds), cookies, donuts, and signature Moscow Mules. The newlyweds danced the night away with their friends and family while Berkley, the flower girl, helped the DJ mix.
Megan and Brett - Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of you wedding day. I loved every second of my time spent with you both. Congrats again!
