Natalie and Jason // Hometown Kansas Winter Wedding

When I met Natalie and Jason for their engagement photos last summer, they told me that they were having 600+ people at their wedding. After picking my jaw up off the floor, I got crazy pumped for their wedding. Friends, these two set the bar for 2019 v high. The January day couldn’t have been more beautiful for their wedding day. Despite the stereotype of a large wedding being less intimate, these two kept the emphasis on one another throughout the day, including special moments with their friends and family. Honestly, I loved every second.
Natalie got ready in her parents’ home in Claflin, KS. The first looks and portraits were done in their yard, complete with clucking chickens, mooing cows, and a lot of cat mating sounds — OMG it was hilarious and that’s why everyone is laughing in every photo. After, we zoomed down to their family church in Odin, which is crazy beautiful. I’m convinced that this church is rural Kansas’ best kept secret. Natalie and Jason said their vows, smooched, and BAM!! they’re married! On the way to the reception we stopped at The Cheyanne Bottoms Overlook to drink some champagne and celebrate the newlyweds before everyone danced the night away.
